Just Be Yourself
“Just be yourself.”
This is perhaps the vaguest advice to give anyone trying to fit in anywhere.
Why?
Because most people don’t know who they are.
They sure have this idea of who they think they are, but it’s not grounded on any intrinsic value or personal belief and principles. It is rather inherited from societal norms and widely accepted biases.

It Takes One Bad Apple…
Feelings were like a burden and I had to let them go. It was like a lead weight tied around my neck while I was drowning in an ocean of responsibilities and expectations.
Fine, maybe it has its place in one’s life, maybe, but I don’t think I care very much about that, not the way I’m expected to. And that’s where the problem is at. It’s most likely the root cause of every other thing that’s gone wrong in my life.
Give A Little Fuck
You’ve heard it a million times, but it doesn’t kick in until you experience it.
I mean, you could recite it if it were a poem. You could preach it like it’s the gospel–that you have to love what you do to get optimum satisfaction and outcome.

Thinking Machines
You do something impressive. I mean, you all by yourself come by an obscure solution to a pesky problem. And of course you’re impressed by that feat.
