Time is a well-known universal treasure owned by all. Also, almost everyone now knows the preciousness of time, at least in theory. And anyone could preach a compelling sermon or deliver a motivational lecture about how time is life, and how it is important for everyone to take it seriously if they intend to achieve anything worthwhile in life. On making impact
There is a life we are destined to live, a purpose we are meant to create and actualize. Each one of us is tasked with that noble duty, for ourselves and for the human race. We are put here not just to pass through like a bird leaves no path as it flies. No. We are, just as those who have come before us, obligated to make an impact. Continue reading “On making impact”
A Rebirth
If You’re Reading This…
… then I’m less of a coward than I was last year.
It’s my 24th birthday today, and trust me, my 23-year old self would not have found the courage to make this post. Maybe he would have written it, but it would never see the light of day.
I’m growing.
The Attention Hoggers
I try my best not to judge others, but in the end I’m just a human, especially since they make it very easy. The attention hoggers who make every bit of step they make a news worthy of our attention. MEMENTO MORI
It was so profound and resonant that I had to pause and listen clearly. It came again: Memento Mori.
A Renewed Sense of Purpose
There are just about a few things that are as frustrating as having so much to do but little time. You see, this is not an issue even proper time management can solve because the issue didn’t come up because you didn’t manage your time properly, but because there is so much to do that time, no matter how properly managed, is just not enough. And this kind of problem, I have observed, usually arise when you find purpose- a purpose for your existence and your relationship with both your environment and the people in it.
I had the privilege of spending time discussing with one of my oldest friends, Joel Akingunola, recently, and in the course of the discussion, he shared Mark Zuckerberg’s Harvard commencement speech with me; actually I started reading it on his phone but due to lack of sufficient time at the moment, I asked him to mail it to me so I could read it up. But because of one thing or the other, I couldn’t get back to reading it until I was with another friend and we were talking about ideas that could be profitable. The discussion then led to the area of goals and “where do you see yourself in…?” Continue reading “A Renewed Sense of Purpose”
