Signs of trouble at a cost
Lines are blurring near the curve
Souls are burning with sulfur
And with life at a gain or loss
Chains of bondage, worn with pride
A curse it seems but a gift it is
Look and behold the hidden light
That cries to shine forth
Listen to the silent cry
Of the pained from a lovely garth
It’s all shiny without
But rotten within
All smiley outside,
But within, a river or tears flow
A tribute I bring, praises I sing
But to what end, for what purpose.
After that, I yell obscenities, and again
I speak of higher truth,
But all seems lost in the big sea
Of my unprocessed thoughts
My mind rages to find words
For conflicting emotions
But then, they never come out.
