Searching for a memory, hoping to give life to it, a time of fulfilled longing… a cherished time and happy time. A longing for someone from a long time ago, it seems like ages now. Someone I used to know so well I gave myself to. Someone I shared a memory and a time with. Someone always in my thoughts… but all gone with time even as with time it came.
Some things never change in life. No matter how old you get, there are some things that never get old. No matter how distant you are from family, your real family, whether by blood or loyalty, they’ll always be in your heart, closer than ever even when they are not there with you. I’m lucky to have such people in my life because it’s a privilege that not everyone gets. No matter where I get to in life, there are certain people I’ll always remember, people who got to put up with me because, believe me, I’m not an easy person to deal with.
