Am I living or just existing?
Lost in reality’s seams
My mind is filled with rage
Hot like burning coals…
Silence could be so deafening and unfair
Thrown into a fit for being ignored
We will fight and lose some things
Even when the battle is won
For victory with a little loss reminds us we could have lost all
Mighty ones have walked this path
They’ve fallen along the way…
And who am I to walk gallantly and prevail with ease.
The slain have tales they’ll never tell
The ignorant has been spared
But when ignorance isn’t bliss
It becomes your undoing.
